Straight to the point old school death metal that does not waste any time on bullshit. It’s pretty standard but not at all generic. For one thing, they do know how to write memorable riffs that won’t get lost in the sea of other cookie-cuter death metal bands. There are some quality solos here thrown in for a good measure of some sinister harmonies too. And the vocals sound like a lot of effort was put in, it’s not just some guy that rolled out of bed and just started slobbering over a mic. A lot of energy is put into it. Raw, gory, heavy, that’s just some of the adjectives to describe this album. If you don’t like this, maybe you just don’t like death metal. Another highlight is the album cover, horror artist Jake (Talesfromuranus.net) obviously did it and that guy is the fucking master of gore.
