Amazing Czech metal in epic "storybook" proprtions. These guys started off as black metal but I don't really hear much bm elements. There's even more folk rock parts than black metal. So if you get turned off by black metal yet dig dramatic heavy metal with rich European folk melodies you'll be very pleased. The vocals are like a gothic heavy metal opera and riffs have a majestic atmosphere. "Majestic Dark heavy metal" is what fits Root's description perfectly. A very classy release.
