Hot Summer in the City (1976)
Not the worst porno, but it wasn't anything special. Just okay and a little better than some of the porno duds I've seen before. The only appeal it has is the novelty that it's a 70's porno with black dudes talking and dressing all "ghetto groovy" I guess would be the word. They got neat fros. Beyond that, this film left me empty as if not much happened. It's just about some white chick getting kidnapped by a gang of black dudes. She gets banged a couple times by them and the leader takes a special liking to her, which conflicts with this one other woman friend he has (a black chick who is way hotter than the plain looking white blonde chick, she's in some sex scenes too). Not much rough shit happens to make this film noteworthy. It's just a series of standard porn scenes. Hardly any story and the film ends with a short violent moment. The 70's ebonic dialogue is nonsensical and retarded which gives the movie some charm in its hilariously bad qualities. There is one guy with a funny face too, that was interesting. Just seeing some silly blaxploitation type characters gangbanging some cliche innocent blonde is the only amusement I got and that was amusing for a little while. Quentin Tarantino is quoted, saying this was the "best porno ever". Either some imdb user is making up stuff or I just question Quentin's judgment, how many other pornos has the guy seen? Come on Quentin, if you're reading this tell me why you thought this was the best porno?
Crude Dude's Verdict: Just feels like watching a decent at best blaxploitation film but with hardcore sex, not anything special or worth hunting down.
